FROM AN EMAIL I RECEIVED TODAY:

Hi Jack,
I came across your video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4pjFSFEtdQ) from Iran Rally on 20th.
It seems you were looking for the lyrics of the song.
The song is named “Hamrah Sho Aziz”. It was originally performed by a very famous Iranian traditional singer (Mr. Shajarian).
Here is the link to the original recording : “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNoMkhE7jds&feature=related“. This was a popular song during Iranian revolution in 1979.

Also, I (Jack) have taken a look around and found this translation:

Come along with us, my dear.
Suffer not alone,
For our shared suffering
Can never be healed in separation.

The troubles of life
Will never get easier for us
Without a shared resolve.
